Full-service native advertising on Taboola and MGID

Ten services, one team, one accountable plan. Most clients take the whole system. Some arrive with a good website or working analytics and we build around what they have. Every service below is described the way we actually deliver it, so you know what you are buying.

Website development and landing pages

Native traffic behaves differently from search traffic. A reader clicks a headline in a feed on a news site, usually on a phone, with no prior knowledge of your brand. The page has to load in about a second, continue the story the headline started and earn trust before it asks for a form fill or a purchase. We build pages for that exact situation.

If you have no website, we build one: a lean, fast marketing site on your own domain and hosting, with service or product pages, an about page, a contact flow and a blog you can grow. If you have a site that is slow, hard to edit or not mobile-friendly, we repair the pages that matter for the campaign first and plan the rest on the roadmap.

What is included

  • Mobile-first advertorial, listicle and quote pages built as pre-landers for native campaigns.
  • Core Web Vitals review and page speed work: compressed images, minimal scripts, static hosting where possible.
  • Forms connected to your inbox or CRM, with spam protection and a thank-you page that fires conversion events.
  • Clear disclosures, privacy policy and terms pages that meet Taboola and MGID landing page requirements.
  • Content you can edit yourself, with a short recorded walkthrough.
  • You own the domain, hosting, code and content from day one.

Platform account setup and registrations

Most of the painful problems in native advertising start with a rushed setup: an account opened under an employee's personal email, a pixel that fires twice, a conversion rule that counts page views as leads. We open and configure everything in your company name, in the right order, and test each piece before a campaign spends.

For Taboola Ads that means the account, billing profile and business details, the Taboola Pixel on every page with conversion rules for the events that matter, and default settings such as brand safety and initial site blocks. For MGID it means the advertiser account, verification, the MGID sensor and conversion goals, payment method and the first widget-level exclusions. We also create the GA4 property and tag manager container if you do not have them.

What is included

  • Taboola Ads and MGID advertiser accounts registered to your business, with your payment method and our team added as users.
  • Taboola Pixel and MGID sensor installed through a tag manager, verified with the platforms' own tools.
  • Conversion rules and goals defined for leads, purchases, calls or sign-ups, with values where relevant.
  • Business profile, domain and policy prerequisites completed before the first creative review.
  • Starter block lists for sites and sections that do not fit your offer, plus geo, language and device defaults.
  • A written handover document with every login location, ID and setting.

Campaign strategy and launch

Strategy in native advertising comes down to a few decisions that are hard to undo: which offer and angle lead, what the reader sees between the click and the conversion, how budget splits between Taboola and MGID and between mobile and desktop, and how you bid. We make those decisions on paper, with numbers from your business, before anything goes live.

We distinguish direct response from content arbitrage from the start. We buy clicks to produce leads and sales for you, not to monetize page views, so every structure we propose is judged on cost per acquisition and payback, not on click volume. The plan names the target CPA, the testing budget, the publisher strategy and the exact points at which we will scale, pause or rebuild.

What is included

  • Offer and funnel review: margins, sales cycle, follow-up process and the conversion event we optimize toward.
  • Campaign architecture per network: separate campaigns by device, by angle and later by publisher whitelist.
  • Bidding plan: CPC for the testing phase, vCPM where reach matters, Smart Bid or maximize conversions once conversion volume supports it.
  • Budget pacing, dayparting hypotheses and geo targeting by state or metro where it fits the business.
  • Launch checklist covering tracking, policy, creative approvals and reporting.
  • A 90-day plan with decision points you can hold us to.

Native creative: headlines, thumbnails and pre-landers

In a content feed, your ad competes with editorial headlines, not with other ads. The headline has to read like something a person would want to know, and the thumbnail has to look like a photo, not a banner. We write and design for that context, and we test in small batches so the data tells us which angle to develop rather than guessing.

Behind the click sits the pre-lander. We build advertorials and listicles with a real story structure: a hook that keeps the promise of the headline, context that explains the problem, honest proof, and a clear next step. Every page carries proper disclosures, avoids fake scarcity and false claims, and is checked against Taboola and MGID advertising policies before it goes to review. Compliance is not a hurdle for us; it is what keeps your account alive and your brand credible.

What is included

  • Headline sets per angle, written for native discovery intent rather than search intent.
  • Thumbnail production from your product photos, licensed imagery or custom illustration, sized for feed and mid-article widgets.
  • Advertorial, listicle and quiz-style pre-landers, with a mobile-first layout and tested calls to action.
  • Policy pre-check for claims, disclosures, before-and-after imagery and sensitive categories on both networks.
  • Creative refresh batches every two to three weeks to stay ahead of fatigue.
  • Your approval before anything is submitted for platform review.

Ongoing campaign management and optimization

Native campaigns are won at the publisher level. Two sites with the same CPC can produce completely different cost per acquisition, and a creative that works on lifestyle publishers can fail on hard news. Our weekly pass reads performance by site and by widget on each network, then acts: block, bid down, bid up, or move a proven site into a whitelist campaign with its own budget.

We also manage the things that quietly erode results. Creative fatigue is tracked by click-through rate and CPA by creative age, and refreshes are scheduled, not reactive. Dayparting is set from conversion data, not assumptions. Mobile and desktop run in separate campaigns so budgets and bids match each device's economics. Smart Bid and maximize conversions are introduced only when conversion volume is large enough to feed them, and we keep manual CPC campaigns as a control.

What is included

  • Daily spend and anomaly checks; weekly optimization pass with written notes.
  • Publisher-level CPA review, site and section block lists, publisher whitelists and bids by site and widget.
  • Device, geo and dayparting adjustments based on conversion data.
  • Creative rotation, pausing of fatigued items and launch of new test batches.
  • Bidding strategy management: CPC, vCPM, Smart Bid and maximize conversions, with control campaigns.
  • Budget reallocation between Taboola and MGID based on marginal cost per acquisition.

Tracking and analytics

You cannot block a bad publisher or scale a good one if you cannot see which one produced the lead. We set up measurement so that every conversion can be traced to a network, campaign, site, creative and device, and so the platforms' bidding algorithms receive clean, deduplicated signals.

The stack is standard and yours: GA4 for behavior, a tag manager container for every tag, the Taboola Pixel and MGID sensor for platform conversions, and server-side or postback conversions where the platform supports them, which protects data from browser restrictions. We define UTM conventions once and apply them everywhere, including dynamic parameters for site and creative IDs, so reports in your analytics line up with the ad platforms.

What is included

  • GA4 property with key events, custom dimensions for network, site and creative, and conversion import to your dashboard.
  • Tag manager container with versioning, naming conventions and a testing checklist.
  • Taboola Pixel conversion rules and MGID sensor conversion goals, tested with the platforms' debuggers.
  • Server-side or postback conversions for lead qualification and purchases where available.
  • Call tracking and CRM connections for businesses that close by phone or in a sales process.
  • UTM and landing page parameter conventions documented in your handover.

Reporting dashboards and plain-language commentary

The Taboola Ads and MGID dashboards are built for operators. Your dashboard is built for an owner or marketing lead who needs to know, in two minutes, whether the channel is paying back and what we are doing about it. It pulls both networks and your analytics into one view and refreshes daily.

Charts alone do not explain anything, so every month you also receive a written report. It says what moved and why, what we tested and what we learned, where the money went by publisher and creative, and what we will do next. We write it in plain language, name our mistakes when we make them and keep every month on record so trends are easy to follow.

What is included

  • One dashboard across Taboola, MGID, GA4 and your CRM or store data, refreshed daily.
  • Views by network, campaign, publisher, creative, device and day, with target CPA lines.
  • Monthly written report with commentary, decisions and the next month's priorities.
  • Weekly meeting notes stored in a shared document you can search.
  • Alerts for spend anomalies, tracking failures and policy rejections.
  • Dashboard and data connections owned by you.

Weekly meeting and monthly roadmap

Every client has a standing weekly meeting with the people who actually run the account. It lasts 30 to 45 minutes, follows an agenda sent the day before and ends with decisions written down. It is where we ask for the inputs we need from you, such as sales feedback on lead quality, and where you can redirect priorities while there is still time in the month.

Once a month, we turn what we learned into a roadmap: a prioritized list of what we will do across media, creative, landing pages, tracking and content, with the reason for each item. The roadmap keeps the engagement from drifting into busywork and gives you a document to share internally.

What is included

  • Fixed weekly video call with agenda, notes and decisions logged the same day.
  • Monthly roadmap with priorities, owners and expected outcomes in words.
  • A shared channel for quick questions between meetings, answered within one business day.
  • Quarterly review of goals, budgets and the overall plan.

Blog and content generation

Native campaigns teach you what your audience actually wants to read, headline by headline. We turn those lessons into content for your own site: articles that answer the questions your pre-landers raise, resource pages that support the claims you make in ads, and comparison or guide pieces that give skeptical readers a place to do their homework.

This content does two jobs. It gives paid traffic credible depth to explore, which lifts conversion on the pages we send it to, and it builds organic visibility over time so the site earns traffic that does not depend on media spend. Every piece is briefed from campaign data, written in your voice and reviewed by you before publication.

What is included

  • Monthly content plan driven by headline tests, search questions and sales objections.
  • Articles and resource pages written, formatted and published on your site.
  • On-page basics: titles, descriptions, internal links and structured data.
  • Supporting pages for advertorial claims, such as ingredient, methodology or process explainers.
  • Your review and approval before anything goes live.

Conversion rate optimization

In native, the landing page is half the media buy. A pre-lander that converts a little better lets us pay more per click, which unlocks more publishers and more volume at the same cost per acquisition. We run structured tests on the pages your campaigns depend on and ship the winners as part of the monthly roadmap.

Tests are chosen from evidence: scroll depth, form abandonment, device-level conversion rates and what readers tell your sales team. Typical experiments cover pre-lander length, where proof sits, headline continuity between the ad and the page, the number of form fields and the wording of the call to action. We report each test with the hypothesis, the result and what we changed because of it.

What is included

  • Monthly CRO test or page improvement with a written hypothesis and result.
  • Analytics review of scroll, click and form behavior by device and traffic source.
  • Page speed and layout fixes that remove friction before testing copy.
  • Variant pages built and tracked so that network reports and analytics agree.
  • A running log of tests so learning compounds instead of repeating.
