In one line: some of the alternatives we link to are Amazon Associates links that may earn us a commission; we do not sell the products we write about, and we never take payment from a seller for coverage.
Amazon Associates
Mestrel America is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a way for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. When we recommend an established alternative product, the link to its Amazon listing is typically an affiliate link that carries our Associates tag. If you buy through it, Amazon may pay us a small commission — at no extra cost to you; you pay the same price you would pay otherwise.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
We do not sell the products we write about
Mestrel America is a publisher, not a shop. We do not manufacture, stock, ship or process payment for any of the products we cover. When you follow a purchase link, you are buying from Amazon and its seller under their terms, not from us.
No pay-for-coverage
We do not accept payment, free products in exchange for a positive write-up, or any other consideration from the sellers of the products we discuss in return for covering them or reaching a particular conclusion. The products we hold up as transparent alternatives are chosen on their merits — a named seller, a clear returns policy, a track record and, where relevant, independent certification — not because anyone paid for the placement.
Prices and availability
Any price, rating, stock status or returns term we quote is what we saw on the date noted on the page. These details change often and are set by the retailer at checkout, so always confirm the current details on the retailer’s own page before you buy.
Trademarks
Product names, brand names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products discussed. “Amazon” and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Mestrel America is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the brands or sellers it writes about.
